FireStop Putty Pads enhance the overall soundproofing quality of your wall or ceiling.

FireStop Putty Pads, 3/16" x 7.25" x 7.25", offer fire protection and sound control in a release lined pad for easy installation to electrical boxes or other room surface penetrations. FireStop Putty Pads are made from a flexible, non-hardening compound designed to expand thus creating an air-tight seal.

Performance

• Tested to meet ASTM E814, fire
• ASTM C919 and E90, sound
• UL263 (ASTM E119, NFPA 251), classified up to 2 hours as a Wall Opening Protective Material for use with both metallic and nonmetallic outlet or switch boxes installed in gypsum wallboard assemblies (steel and wood assemblies)
• Tested successfully with box spacing reduced to less than 16" O.C. (Not tested nor approved for boxes installed directly back-to-back).
• Expansion begins at 230 ℉
• In Service Temperature : 120 ℉
• STC Rating: 62
