RSIC-1 LP Acoustical Isolation Clip

RSIC-1 LP is a low profile isolation clip designed to isolate a ceiling from any wood or steel framed structure. The RSIC-1 Low Profile decouples the gypsum or plywood from vibration caused by footfall or impact noise noise that transmits through the structure. The low profile RSIC-1 maximizes ceiling height. The RSIC-1 is rated to support 36 pounds per isolation clip. Spacing between clips allows for support of either one or two layers of 5/8" gypsum.

The RSIC-1 LP fastens directly to the side of the framing creating a cavity below the joists. For heavier systems increase the number of clips to support the additional weight. Securely fasten clips to channel with a pair of RSIC-FCR, Furring Channel Retainer Clips.
